Reselling SSFeatures

As a reseller, you act as the vendor for SSFeatures to your customers. You invoice your customers directly using your existing billing relationships, then remit 70% to SSFeatures, LLC (you keep 30%).

The Basic Workflow

  1. Sell SSFeatures to your customer using your preferred billing method
  2. Collect payment from your customer
  3. Register the subscription here using "Create New Reseller Subscription"
  4. Request an invoice from SSFeatures, LLC to pay your portion

Creating a Subscription

After your customer has paid you:

  1. Click "Create New Reseller Subscription"
  2. Enter the Buyer Email - this person becomes the account owner and can manage users/domains
  3. Set the License Count and Payment Schedule
  4. Set the Billing Cycle Start and End dates

Important: Even if the status shows "Active", users cannot access SSFeatures if the billing cycle has expired.

Managing Users and Domains

Both you and the buyer can manage the account:

  • Add users by email with Reader or Admin permissions
  • Add domains to grant access to everyone at that company (e.g., acme.com)

This lets you set everything up for your customer, or they can manage it themselves.

Requesting an Invoice

After registering a subscription, request an invoice to pay SSFeatures, LLC:

  1. Click "Request an Invoice"
  2. Select the subscription and enter the amount
  3. Pay the invoice to complete your obligation

Upgrading Licenses Mid-Cycle

If your customer wants more licenses:

  1. Use the Prorate Calculator to determine the prorated cost
  2. Invoice your customer for the difference
  3. After they pay, update the license count
  4. Request a new invoice from SSFeatures, LLC for your portion

Converting Prospects to Paying Customers

Here are strategies to ensure prospects purchase through your reseller channel.

For Smaller Accounts

  1. Use your tracking URL - Send prospects to ssfeatures.com?via=YOUR_AFFILIATE_ID to tag them to your account for 90 days. If they purchase within that timeframe, the referral is automatically tracked.

  2. Offer your discount code - As an affiliate, you have a 20% off discount code to incentivize purchases through you.

  3. Extend their trial - Add prospects to your account with free licenses to give them extra trial time. Once the trial ends, follow up about purchasing.

For Larger Accounts

  1. Leverage your vendor relationship - If you're already a vendor with the company, it's faster for them to purchase through you than to onboard SSFeatures as a new vendor.

  2. Seed power users with free licenses - Give 1-2 free licenses to power users at the company so they can vouch for the software internally. They'll purchase through you since you're the entry point.

Create Your Own SSFeatures Page

You can add a page on your website that describes SSFeatures and send prospects there instead of the main SSFeatures website. To direct users to download:

This URL sends users directly to the download page for their browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari) and tags them through Rewardful. You can then have a purchase button that contacts you directly.
